Module PrestaShop reCaptcha Anti Spam System

A Google account is required for using reCAPTCHA on your site. First, log into your Google account and visit the reCAPTCHA page to sign up for an API key pair – you’ll need these keys to configure the module. Choose the type of CAPTCHA you want to use (either reCAPTCHA v2 or Invisible reCAPTCHA), enter the domain name of your website, check necessary checkboxes and click Register. On the next page, scroll down to the Keys section and copy both keys to corresponding fields on the module configuration page.

The contact form on your website’s Contact us page will be instantly protected with the Google reCAPTCHA once you enter valid API keys on the module configuration page and save your settings. If you’ve chosen the Checkbox CAPTCHA type, a small checkbox with an “I’m not a robot” line next to it will appear right above the Send button. Site visitors will have to click this checkbox before sending their message. If, on the other hand, you’ve chosen the Invisible CAPTCHA type, there will be no checkboxes, and CAPTCHA verification will take place when the Send button is clicked.

Sometimes verification is done automatically and your clients won’t have to solve any CAPTCHA at all, but usually, they will be presented with a simple puzzle that must be solved in order to proceed.
